Dear Students,

It is with great pleasure that I welcome you to the University of Houston. As the Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs and Provost, I oversee all academic programs and policies, and am responsible for ensuring student access and, most importantly, your success.

Through initiatives such as UHin4, Provost Summer Read, and Cub Camp, I am confident you will meet any academic challenges you might face during your time on campus.  With all that is happening, it is a great time to be a Coog!

I want to remind you to take advantage of the opportunity to study with our distinguished, Tier One faculty.  You will learn with award-winning scholars including National Academy members, Nobel Prize, and Tony Award-winning professors.
