UH Libraries serves the UH community by enhancing student learning, participating in the development of scholarly research and creative output, and promoting discovery of information and knowledge from diverse and relevant resources.

Students, faculty, and staff have access to the spaces and resources provided by UH Libraries with their Cougarnet credentials. Databases, journal articles, e-books, video, audio, and more can be accessed online. Digital Collections and the Audio/Video Repository provide access to rare and unique digitized and born-digital materials documenting the University of Houston, the City of Houston, and the State of Texas, as well as other historically and culturally significant materials.

MD Anderson Library offers users flexible and inviting spaces for both collaborative and individual work, access to computers and academic software, and options for reserving equipment and group study rooms. UH Libraries offers various research services open to all UH scholars at any stage of the research process and supports students’ learning needs through teaching partnerships with faculty and co-curricular programming.
