LAW 5470 - Innocence Investigations

Credit Hours: 4.0
This course will cover basic issues associated with conducting factual investigations, years after a trial has occurred, to determine whether a prison inmate is innocent. The course will consider, among other things, the mechanics of conducting factual investigations, and will also address ethical issues associated with such investigations. Students will have the opportunity to screen cases and may have the opportunity to conduct investigations.
