Description
This course introduces students to key concepts of the historical study of science, technology, and medicine from the ancient world to the present. It examines science, technology, and medicine as products of specific social and historical conditions, as well as what social changes they have induced throughout history. Course Notes: This is a writing intensive course that satisfies the Writing in Disciplines core requirement. It also contributes to the professional studies track in Science, Medicine, and Technology¿in the Department of History.
