The Professional Accounting Programs Office

The Professional Accounting Programs Office, located in 275 Melcher Hall, is committed to providing quality advising services to currently enrolled and prospective students. Interested persons may contact the office for information and academic advising at 713-743-4696. Information sessions on Accounting are offered monthly.

The Department of Accountancy & Taxation, through the Professional Accounting Program’s Office, offers a number of programs (tracks) for accounting majors, some for students entering the workforce with a BBA in Accounting, and others for those students wanting to qualify to take the Texas State Board of Public Accountancy (TSBPA) Uniform CPA Examination. The goal of the Accounting Programs Office is to help all accounting degree-seeking majors to successfully determine and accomplish their academic and career goals.
