Designed as a program to provide health care professionals with expertise and aid them as educators or mangers of education programs, including curriculum leadership and scholarly inquiry, while facilitating student learning.  

Criteria include 12 graduate credit hours and program certificate requirements.  The program area is Learning, Design, & Technology in the Department of Curriculum and Instruction.

Students are required to take CUIN 7390, Instructional Design  or CUIN 7391, Curriculum Development for Health Sciences Education  and select three additional courses from the following list:

• CUIN 7305 - Design, Development & Evaluation of Presentations Credit Hours: 3.0
• CUIN 7308 - Educational Uses of Computer-Mediated Communication Credit Hours: 3.0
• CUIN 7356 - Issues in Distance Education Credit Hours: 3.0
• CUIN 7358 - Educational Uses of Digital Storytelling Credit Hours: 3.0
• CUIN 7368 - Advanced Digital Imaging in Education Credit Hours: 3.0
• CUIN 7376 - New Tools for Creating Online Educational Materials Credit Hours: 3.0
• CUIN 7389 - Digital Media Credit Hours: 3.0
