The Entrepreneurship Minor provides foundational knowledge and skills required to start or grow a business, housed in the Department of Marketing and Entrepreneurship, is offered for
- all business and non-business undergraduate majors at the University of Houston in traditional degree programs, and
- degree-seeking undergraduate business majors in the UH Extend Online BBA.

Prerequisites
UH cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher. Course Requirements
15 semester credit hours, to include: Note(s)
The Entrepreneurship Minor is offered for: - all business and non-business undergraduate majors at the University of Houston main campus in regular degree programs utilizing all modes of delivery (Face-to-Face, Hyflex, Synchronous Online, and Asynchronous Online), and
- degree-seeking undergraduate business major in the UH Extend Online BBA, offered 100% online.
Students cannot count courses toward both the Entrepreneurship minor and toward the Entrepreneurship or Marketing major requirements or another business minor. These courses can be used to meet advanced business elective requirements. Nonbusiness majors seeking the Entrepreneurship minor must have a grade point average at UH of 2.0 or higher at the time of filing for a minor. Students should consult the Academic Regulations for minors, including grade point average, advanced hours, and residency, on the requirements for a minor . Undergraduate business majors in the accelerated pathway B.B.A./M.S. degree program who complete graduate courses as an undergraduate may count them toward the requirements for the B.B.A. regardless of admission to a M.S. business program toward major or minor requirements for courses with the same letter rubrics as their major or minor, or toward elective requirements of their major. |
